Ras Nungwi

Ras Nungwi fronts overlooks a beautiful white beach on the north coast of Zanzibar. Stone Town is about an hour and a half's drive away. It is worth the drive as the view from the front row of chalets across the beach to the sea is fantastic. The water is crystal clear and the local diving is excellent.  

There are 32 rooms, the best of which are the chalets looking out to sea. They all have adjoining bathrooms with ceiling fans, split level air conditioning and balconies. There is a bar and restaurant with meals focused on sea-food dishes and local fruits.  

Ras Nungwi has a fully equipped dive school, activities also include snorkelling, beach volleyball, water-skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and deep-sea fishing.
