Ras Nungwi

Ras Nungwi fronts onto a beautiful white beach on Zanzibar's north coast. It is about an hour and a half's drive from Stone Town. It is worth the drive as the view from the front row of chalets across the beach to the sea is spectacular. The water is crystal clear and the local diving is excellent.

There are 32 rooms, the best of which are the chalets looking out to sea. They are all en-suite with ceiling fans and balconies. There is a bar and restaurant with meals based around sea-food dishes and local fruits.

There is a fully equipped dive school at Ras Nungwi and this together with snorkelling, beach volleyball, water-skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and deep-sea fishing means there is plenty to do here to while away your days.
