Heuglin's Lodge  
  
Heuglin’s Lodge is situated in the quiet garden suburbs of Lilongwe, Malawi’s capital, approximately 30 minute’s drive from the airport. Set in expansive, attractive gardens, bird life is plentiful, and the guesthouse offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Heuglin’s has six spacious and tastefully furnished bedrooms, three of which have adjoining bathrooms. It also has a lounge, extensive library and dining room. The guesthouse offers meals and a full bar. There is also a 33 foot pool in the garden. An interesting excursion is into Lilongwe, for visits to the bustling old town market and local craft centers. The nearby Lilongwe Nature Sanctuary is a must for keen birders with Red Throated Twin Spot, Olive Sunbird, Livingstone's Loerie and Finfoot among the specials.
