Offbeat Mara Camp

Offbeat Mara Camp is a traditional bush camp in the Mara North Conservancy which borders Kenya’s wildlife rich Masai Mara.  The camp is perched on the shady banks of the Olare Orok River, impinging little on the natural habitat, and the plentiful resident wildlife wanders through the area unperturbed.

Accommodation & Facilities
The camp has seven luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms with bucket showers, flushing loos, huge wooden beds and internal lighting. Three of the tents have two bedrooms to suit families. This is a traditional bush camp where you spend nights sitting around the camp fire and eating dinner under the stars. There is a small lounge tent with comfy chairs and a small bar, a great place to relax at the end of the day with a small library of reference books.

Wildlife & Activities
Guided walking safaris and game drives with experienced guides in specially adapted 4×4 vehicles allow guests to view the incredible Masai Mara wildlife. Between July and October, large herds of wildebeest and zebra migrate from the adjoining Serengeti, providing a seasonal feast for the numerous predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah that live here year round. Among the additional activities on offer are night drives, visits to a rhino sanctuary, a local market and schools.
