Aardvark was established in 1999 by old Africa hands John Spence and Richard Smith. The company is privately owned allowing complete independence in choosing the places and properties to promote. John and Richard are still running it today with the help of a great team.
The US office Aardvark Safaris, Inc is based in Southern California. Our sister Company Aardvark Safaris Ltd has two offices in the UK, one in Hampshire, England and the second in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our latest office is on vibrant South Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach, California.
The ethos of Aardvark is to provide our clients with exceptional service and a vacation which surpasses their expectations. As a result, they return to us year after year and recommend us to others. Our staff members are genuinely the key asset of the company so we always want the best.
In the last eleven years we have had countless articles praising our company's trips to Africa in the major newspapers, both here in the US & UK. We have extremely high levels of customer satisfaction from our guests. Our current new sales are over 70% repeat business or word of mouth recommendations. In addition, AITO have awarded us the maximum four stars in recognition of our responsible tourism policies.

We’ve grown in number over the past ten years, but we make every effort to preserve the atmosphere of a small, close-knit company.
Our staff are widely travelled and put this expertise to use in designing interesting and enjoyable itineraries for our clients. They are also fully trained in the tools of the travel industry enabling them to offer clients the best and most suitable vacation.
