Amongst the many factors that make planning a honeymoon different, the most important is perhaps pace. After the excitement of a wedding and then a long international flight it is important to start with a few days of relaxation. This time can be spent on a beach or in a setting where the wildlife is not the main attraction: few people want to be dragged out of their honeymoon four-poster bed before dawn to look at animals, however spectacular. Time permitting, we'd also recommend some low-pressure time at the end of your safari as well: a great opportunity to reflect on Africa's sights and experiences.

The particular safari you choose will depend completely on your taste. Want to canoe amongst hippo? We can arrange that. Prefer exploring the bush on foot or traveling by vehicle? There are walking options throughout Africa. Whether your dream is to splash on horseback through the shallows of the Okavango Delta, meet mountain gorillas in the wild, or raft the rapids of the Zambezi, we can help with every detail, however specific.

Accommodations will suit your taste. The date of your wedding is likely to be a very important factor. Summer and Fall weddings leave your options pretty open: most of Africa is perfect for a safari. During North America's Winter and Spring seasonal factors may become important: Southern and East Africa tend to have the better weather and most dramatic wildlife migrations.
