Hogmead

Hogmead is a boutique hotel set in the quiet, leafy Langata suburb of Nairobi. The hotel is set within ten acres of tranquil grounds, offering a peaceful and relaxing retreat balancing an historical colonial past along with a modern approach.  Hogmead is also ideally situated for access to both the international and domestic airports in Nairobi and is the perfect spot for an overnight stay on the way to or from a safari, or en-route to the coast.

Accommodation & Facilities
Hogmead is comprised of six large rooms overlooking the well-kept gardens to the Ngong Hills and beyond. Each room is very spacious, comfortable and enjoys lavish ensuite facilities.  Two of the rooms have an interleading door, making them ideal for families. All rooms also have satellite television with DVD player and Wi-Fi internet.  Families of resident warthogs and an array of colourful bird life live in the extensive gardens and are best watched from the comfort of the communal restaurant, where high quality cuisine is enjoyed.   The airy drawing room and garden rooms also provides a relaxed living space in which to unwind and for the cooler months have open fires.

Wildlife & Activities
As well as, Hogmead’s proximity to Nairobi’s airports it is also ideally located for visit to many of the city’s other attractions including the Nairobi National Park, the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the AFEW Giraffe Centre, as well as extensive shopping opportunities.
