Kizingoni and Lamu Beach Houses

Kizingoni and Lamu Beach Houses is a collection of seven private houses (Kizingoni, Kuni Joggo, Wazi Dubu, Kusini and Jahazi) in a seafront setting on a secluded, private stretch of beach. The location is a 20 minute boat ride away from Lamu and Shela, on the far end of Shela Beach, 12km of wild untouched shoreline and ancient sand dunes at the southern tip of Lamu Island.
Accommodation & Facilities
Each Kizingoni Beach House is individually designed with unique architectural features, and all have been carefully thought out to make the best use of the cooling sea breezes. The houses are very spacious and well equipped with solar and wind powered electrical and hot water systems, large swimming pools and an enclosed garden. The houses suit families and groups with three of the houses sleeping ten guests and two sleeping eight. Each house has its own staff, including a chef, waiters, and room stewards, together with a private boat and captain.
Wildlife & Activities
Kizingoni Beach offers a wide range of activities including fishing, picnics on neighboring islands, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, dhow trips and deep sea fishing. The water-sports on offer include waterskiing and wakeboarding up the Kipungani Channel, and Kayaking. Visits can also be arranged to Shela Village, Kipungani Village and Lamu Town.
