Lemarti's Camp
Lemarti’s Camp is owned and run by fashion designer Anna Trzebinski and her Samburu husband Loyapan
Lemarti. Set in the Koija Group Ranch in the Laikipia region of northern Kenya, the camp has a beautiful
location on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the shade of a palm grove and a huge centenary fig
tree.
Accommodation & Facilities
The five large and luxurious tents at Lemartis’ Camp have been cleverly designed to ensure little
impact on the surrounding area whilst providing a haven of comfort for guests. The tents are raised
on platforms and the large en suite bathrooms have traditional bucket showers, long-drop loos and free
standing baths. The central mess tent, furnished with sheepskin rugs, exotic throws and comfortable
sofas has a reference library to enjoy and is a great place to relax when not out on safari.
Wildlife & Activities
Activities at Lemarti’s Camp are focused on the rich culture of the surrounding area and with
Lemarti’s heritage this is very much an authentic experience. Activities include walking safaris
with Samburu warriors, visits to the women’s groups, mountain biking and game drives in nearby
Mpala Wildlife Conservancy.
