The Palacina  
  
The Palacina is a stylish, family owned and run, boutique hotel just outside the centre of Nairobi. It is in a lovely position, overlooking the gardens of State House Valley, and is a peaceful and tranquil place, with very high levels of personalised service and a very flexible approach to guests’ needs. The Palacina has fourteen spacious and well equipped suites, with state-of-the-art facilities that include a television, mini bar, microwave oven and DVD player. Each suite is individually decorated with unusual and interesting pieces, and also has a private balcony that overlooks the garden. The bathrooms feature Jacuzzi bathtubs as well as showers. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, a bar and a large, comfortable lounge. Outside, the lovely gardens contain a swimming pool, and there is also a fitness and spa room. The Palacina is conveniently close to both the international and domestic airports and is also within easy reach of downtown Nairobi and various shopping centres.
