Tijara Beach

Tijara Beach is a set amongst stunning tropical gardens in Kilindini just south of Mombasa on the Kenyan Coastline.  The cliff top family run lodge offers a peaceful haven in which to relax and enjoy the slower pace of life.

Accommodation & Facilities
Tijara Beach is comprised of four stone and thatched roofed cottages.  The cottages are all well positioned making the most of the surrounding views. Each cottage is beautifully designed in the traditional Swahili style with carved doors and handcrafted furniture.  The bedrooms are very spacious with a large decked verandah running along the front of the cottage.  The ensuite bathrooms are equally airy with double wash basis and showers all with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean.  There is also a small restaurant area and a freshwater pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Guests can enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling in the pristine waters, as well as opportunities to go deep sea fishing, explore the local caves, beach and reef walks.  Excursions to nearby attractions such as Mombasa, the Old Town and Fort Jesus and the Shimba Hills Game Reserve can also be arranged.  There is also in house therapist offering beauty treatments and the pool or beach to relax by.
