Sala's Camp

Sala’s Camp straddles the Sand River on the Southern end of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This small, privately owned seasonal tented camp is located at the convergence of 2 rivers, in a shaded forest looking southwards into the Northern Serengeti and Tanzania beyond.

Accommodation & Facilities
Sala’s Camp is consists of just seven traditional safari tents, all with private bathroom facilities including a flush toilet and bucket showers. The large, specious tents are luxuriously furnished and offer incredible views across the river and plains into Tanzania. There is also a mess tent where guests enjoy home cooked fresh produce served around a large dining table.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities at Sala’s Camp revolve around game drives to see the amazing wildlife of the Masai Mara and the Serengeti ecosystem, all of which are done in comfortable 4 x 4 vehicles in the company of an experienced guide. For keen birdwatchers, the Mara offers exceptional avian diversity. In this culturally rich area, trips can be arranged to visit local villages.
