Tassia Lodge    
  
Tassia Lodge in Kenya's remote northern frontier district overlooks a valley full of Loimugi trees a favorite food of the elephants that regularly visit the area. Accommodations comprise five double bedrooms, one twin room and a children's bunk house with three double bunk beds. Each room is comfortably furnished with sofas, large beds and a private adjoining bathroom. The communal dining and sitting area overlooks a beautiful swimming pool which has been set into the rocky hillside. Walking is the main activity in the area, and the forests are full of butterflies, birds and rare plants. After the rains, when the river is flowing, it is possible to swim in the nearby waterfall and natural pools. Game drives to explore the area a little further from camp can also be arranged.
