I was fortunate enough to see fantastic game with LVHS. The first animal we saw from horseback on the very first morning was a leopard, which sort of set the tone for the week. There was plenty of other wildlife, with lots of elephant, giraffe, zebra and around 350 bird species to enjoy. On the Mashatu game drive afternoon we saw lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena in the space of a few hours; thus completing the big five check list when combined with Dinaka.

On the last night we were surrounded by a breeding herd of some 50 elephants and their calves, which was an amazing sight. The week before me had seen caracal and porcupine on horseback, aardwolf during a sundowner drive and of course ellies, giraffe, some spooky eland and lots of zebra.
