Jardin du Roy

This unique hotel is built in such a way that it blends seamlessly into the sandstone rock backdrop.  It is 150 miles from Tamatave on the southern boundary of Isalo National Park in the south west of Madagascar.

Accommodation & Facilities
The fifteen rooms are spacious and each with its own adjoining bathroom and own verandah.  Jardin du Roy also has a large pool in the well maintained gardens as well as a dining room and bar.

Wildlife & Activities
Guided walks can be arranged from Jardin du Roy into the picturesque Isalo National Park and these can include visits to the Canyon des Singes and Canyon des Rats which are cut into the sandstone. Isalo is an impressive and stunning national park with beautiful colors and sculpturing of the eroded terrain and sweeping panoramas.  Horses are available, and rides or hikes can be organized in the surrounding countryside.
