Masoala Forest Lodge is set in a clearing in the primary forest on a beach on the Masoala Peninsula in the north-east of Madagascar.  Access to the lodge is by boat, in the morning, across the Bay of Antongil from Maroantsetra.

Accommodation & Facilities
The 5 tents at Masoala Forest Lodge are all on stilted platforms under thatched roofs and have private verandahs with hammocks.  The private bathrooms are set a short distance away from the tents and have flushing lavatories and bucket showers.  There is a main dining area and lounge overlooking the beach.

Wildlife & Activities
There are an array of activities on offer from the beach at Masoala Forest Lodge including snorkeling and sea kayaking.  In addition, day and night guided walks into the Masoala National Park provide excellent opportunities to view wildlife, including a number of different lemur species, birds and endemic flora. Guests can also go on hikes to a nearby waterfall or along the stunning, secluded beach.  Fishing and whale watching can also be arranged.
