Situated in the middle of the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary, Nyati Beach Lodge is perched high on top of sand dunes, with commanding views over the Indian Ocean and lagoon. Guests here have access to 50 acres of untouched wilderness and 22 miles of pristine, private, white sand beaches. 

Accommodation & Facilities
Nyati Beach Lodge has five wooden, thatched roofed villas boasting views of the ocean or lagoon.  In addition, three large, two-bedroomed villas are ideal for families or groups of friends.  Using natural materials and thoughtful design, the villas  combine modern comfort with African charm.  Each offers private terraces, air-conditioning and spacious en-suite bathroom complete with bath, indoor and outdoor shower.  The bar and dining area of the lodge are on raised timber decks with sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and you can enjoy a a refreshing dip in the pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Nyati Beach Lodge offers a wealth of activities including snorkelling, scuba diving on nearby reefs, deep-sea fishing and fly-fishing, sailing,  windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking, and even surfing.  Whale sharks and manta rays can be seen throughout the year with them appearing in greater concentrations between October and April, coinciding with the turtle breeding season.    Between May and August, humpback whales arrive on their journey north to the warm tropical waters of northern Mozambique.  The lodge also offers island excursions to the Bazaruto archipelago, village visits and guided tours of Vilanculos, that can all be arranged and paid for locally.
