Camp Kipwe

   

Camp Kipwe is located among dramatic granite rock ‘kopjes’ and looks out onto superb scenery within the Twyfelfontain area of Damaraland.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are nine roomy, circular rooms, all of which have adjoining bathrooms and have a large outdoor verandah from which to admire the views.  The encompassing boulders, red basalt rocks and mopane branches help to give the camp a natural organic feel.  The main area is raised and consists of four thatched domes; dining room, lounge and bar and a small curio shop.  There is also a small swimming pool built into the rocks and a viewpoint presenting 360 degree views.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities on offer at Kipwe include nature drives with the chance of seeing the desert-adapted elephants in the dry season, Twyfelfontein excursions to the rock engravings and guided walks around the camp.
