Okonjima Bush Villa and Bush Suite 

Okonjima is a half hour’s drive off the main B1 road between Windhoek and Etosha. As a drive it’s approximately two and a half hours from Windhoek and three and a half hours from Etosha. It is also reachable by plane, with its own airstrip. The property covers 22,000 hectares with rocky outcrops, scrubby acacia bush and open grass-land.

Accommodation & Facilities
Okonjima Bush Suite is a spectacular self contained house with two large bedrooms, each with adjoining bathrooms, with air-conditioning and heating. The bathrooms are very roomy, and have an inside and an outside shower and a bath.  The bedrooms are set either side of a spacious living and dining area with roll up canvas sides allowing you to experience the open view to the pool and encompassing bush.

The Okonjima Bush Villa is ideal for large families or groups but can also be taken by individual couples travelling independently.  The Bush Villa consists of three cottages, a main ‘house’ and separate North and South Suites. The main house has two spacious bedrooms, each with a large bathroom, and one with a mezzanine level with another bed.  The lounge and dining room have canvas walls, allowing them to be opened to the view, across the pool and day-sala to the large waterhole beyond. The North and South Suites each have a large air-conditioned and heated bedroom areas and a separate adjoining bathroom. They have their own ‘drinks station’, but would come to the main house for meals or to use the pool etc.

Both the Bush Suite and the Bush Villa have their own private chefs and a fully equipped kitchen, and although are fully catered, guests staying are welcome to help themselves to food and drink whenever they like.  Both houses are also fully hosted, and have a private vehicle and guide for exclusive use, and own swimming pool.  Some of the double beds at both the Bush Suite and Bush Villa can also be wheeled outside for a ‘Star Bed’ experience.
