Pricing

We will work closely with you to plan a trip that suits your budget. For some clients, the budget will determine the itinerary, while for others the itinerary will dictate the budget. Pricing can depend upon the season, which countries you choose to visit and whether or not your holiday includes set departures. Rest assured that whatever African safari you choose, we have visited every lodge and camp so that we can guarantee the ultimate in service and hospitality.  

Of course, you will pay no more booking through Aardvark Safaris than you would if you planned the vacation yourself. Aardvark Safaris is a California Registered Seller of Travel, which means we abide by the highest standards of care in the industry. If, for any reason, there is a cancellation not in accordance with your contract, you are entitled to receive a prompt and automatic refund.   

We have arranged good safaris for about $5,000 per person. Last year, our average client spent just over $8,000 per person. For increased luxuries such as private charter flights and exclusive, remote lodges you can expect to spend around $20,000 per person. These prices include accommodation, meals and activities such as game drives and walks, park entry fees and all amenities. As always, our extensive knowledge of every country, camp and lodge is free and, our clients say, priceless. 

After we have completed your personalized itinerary, we’ll ask you to review it before we give you a detailed quote. To confirm arrangements, we’ll ask you to complete and return our booking form along with a 25% deposit. We gladly accept check, debit or credit card, or bank transfer. Please note that while currency exchange rates in Africa can vary wildly, we lock in your pricing when you book.  If a currency fluctuates, you will never pay more for your trip that we agree upon at the time of booking. Unlike other safari companies, we’ll make up the difference, should your trip become more expensive due to exchange rates.
