Villas De Mer

The Villas De Mer guest house is small, privately owned, and located by the long white Grande Anse Beach on Praslin Island’s west coast.  Villas De Mer makes an excellent option for couples and families alike who are looking for an affordable, friendly, and informal place to stay when exploring Praslin Island.  It offers wonderful, genuine Seychellois hospitality.

There are ten rooms which all have either a pool view or a sea view, and simple yet comfortable furnishings and decoration.  All rooms have an adjoining bathroom and air-conditioning, as well as a fan, TV, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer and a private verandah.  Most rooms can accommodate two adults and a child.  There is a beach side restaurant specializing in Creole dishes, which is open for a la carte lunches and set menu dinners.

A range of water sports may be arranged through a local water sports centre including deep sea fishing and scuba diving.  Guests can also arrange day trips around the island, and guests who wish to be independent can easily hire a car.  The guest house operates a shuttle bus service three times a week to other beaches on the island including Cote D’Or and Anse Lazio.
