Meet the Team

Francis Naumann

Francis passion for Africa was sparked by a fortnight in Kenya with his parents when aged 10. Originally a farmer, Francis spent five years as a grubby overlander leading expeditions across large chunks of both the lesser visited parts of the continent and the more popular bits. He found the inconsistencies and challenges of African bureaucracy to be much to his liking, along with the wonderfully incomplete infrastructure and of course the people, landscapes and natural history that he encountered in 20 different countries.

Francis cannot wait to introduce his four year old daughter to this incredible continent.

Outside work, he enjoys gardening, riding, cricket, and cycling though not necessarily in that order, and is looking forward to some great riding in Africa.
