Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge

Set in 50 acres of pristine bush just a 20 minute drive from the Ngorongoro Crater, Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge is the perfect spot from which to explore the famous Crater and its wildlife.

Accommodation & Facilities
Twenty luxury suites, each set in an individual cottage, house an en-suite bedroom, living room, and large private viewing terrace complete with comfortable sofa and dining area. The Accacia Restaurant overlooks the pool deck and serves up delicious meals, ingredients for which are sourced from the lodge vegetable garden or local farms.  The Zebra bar provides a convivial spot to relax with a drink and flick through some of the safari and African inspired books available at the lodge.

Wildlife & Activities
An estimated 25,000 large animals live in the Ngorongoro Crater including black rhino, hippo, wildebeest, zebra and buffalo.  There are good populations of lion in the crater itself and leopard living on the crater rim.  While game drives in this spectacular wildlife wilderness will be a highlight of your stay at Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge, it’s also possible to explore Lake Manyara National Park and take excursions to Olduvai Gorge and into the Senengeti National Park.  There are some lovely walks around the lodge and visits to coffee farms and Masai Villages can also be arranged.
