Faru Faru

 

Set on a hillside overlooking a waterhole and the Grumeti River beyond, the luxurious Faru Faru camp has wonderful views of the endless Serengeti plains.

From the outside, the six stone and canvas suites look similar in style to a traditional East African safari lodge.  Inside, guests will find stunning contemporary styling with panoramic picture windows, mirrored room divides, and luxuriously appointed bathrooms.   The sand "beach" is an ideal sunbathing spot and the swimming pool has views out over the waterhole below.  The raised viewing decks make great vantage points for watching activity in the surrounding landscape.

There is excellent game in the area with large herds of wildlife drawn in by the Grumeti River.  Activities offered at Faru Faru include game drives and walking along the River during dry season which is a particular highlight.
