Gibb's Farm
Gibb’s Farm, perfectly positioned half way between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, is an 80 year old colonial farmhouse, set within the heart of a working African Farm and overlooking an old coffee plantation. The terraced gardens have spectacular views towards the Great Rift Escarpment, and the lodge backs onto the forests of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Each of the 20 farm cottages at Gibb’s farm, hidden in their own secluded flower garden, has a spacious interior, adjoining bathroom facilities, fireplace, sweeping views and a private verandah. The dining room offers delightful simple fare, mostly home grown. Guests can amble through broad floral and medicinal gardens, the private forest reserve or explore the 30 acres of farmland. It's also possible to explore further afield on a day trip to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.
