Kiba Point Kiba Point is located in Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve, it is the largest reserve in Africa and the second largest protected area in the world. Set miles apart, the reserve has a small number of camps set miles apart. Kiba Point is a distinguished sister camp to Sand River Selous, and positioned on an outcrop of rock has amazing views over the Rufiji River itself. This camp is exclusive and taken on a private basis only, it has four stone and thatch rooms which are large with adjoining bathrooms and plunge pool. There is a large communal area with dining room facilities, bar and plunge pool. Around the camp game viewing is excellent, and guests can participate in walking safaris, boat trips and game drives in an open vehicle. There is also the chance to book a fly camping walking trip in advance. As well as large numbers of predators and prey, the opportunity to see packs of wild dog is a particular highlight of this area.
