Olakira Camp

Olakira Camp is a luxurious mobile tented camp that from December to March is positioned in the Ndutu area. On these Serengeti plains are the infinite grasslands where lion and cheetah find ideal hunting grounds. The camp moves up to the central Serengeti from June to early December, where the mass of animals is more compact at this time.  

Olakira Camp is a friendly camp comprising of eight guest tents and two large mess/dining tents. The guest tents are roomy and comfortable with large king-size or twin beds and convenient adjoining bathrooms with flush toilets. Each tent has its own private veranda with a fantastic view overlooking the Serengeti. Delicious meals are served in the dining tent or in a private area:your own veranda or under the stars.  

The southern and central Serengeti areas are famous for amazing wildlife viewing. Drives in these locations, short trips or full day explorations get you up close and personal with an astonishing number of animals – and if lucky, guests can even witness the members of the vast wildebeest herd give birth almost simultaneously.
