Rivertrees Country Inn Reviews
Rivertrees was a lovely peaceful place and we had a good walk on the Shira Plateau. I am now tempted to walk Kilimanjaro! We were very lucky and 3 Colobus monkeys came to the Rivertrees garden.
Delightful place to start our safari and a unique environment unto itself. A great way to enter Tanzania.
Lovely location outside of the hustle and bustle of Arusha and Moshi. Staff was really welcoming and rooms were lovely. The pizza oven offers comfort food and carb loading for climbers.
A very comfortable Inn in a lovely setting. Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning so we didn't have any time to enjoy the property fully.
I loooooved this place! The sound of the river and monkeys was magnificent, the grounds were beautiful, and the food was better than what I eat at home (get the salad - you won't regret it!). The rooms were simple, but magical - the bed was insanely comfortable, the bathroom was rustic and luxe at the same time, the porch area was perfect for writing in my journal and enjoying the surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made me feel right at home. I also loved the common areas in the main house - a perfect place to read a book on a quiet afternoon!
Good place to overnight at the beginning or end of your trip. Lovely grounds and nice rooms.
A haven of cool verdant peacefulness after the excitement, rigors and dry dustiness of safari in the dry season. The rooms are superb, with large canopied beds and beamed ceilings, plus good hot showers. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is great too.
