Gorilla Forest Camp  
  
Set on a hillside just inside Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the luxurious Gorilla Forest Camp. Close to the park entrance and built into the thick rainforest, this comfortable camp is the perfect base to track mountain gorillas. There are eight, spacious tents, all with private bathrooms and a fabulous bathtub looking out over the rainforest. Guests can relax or dine on a large wooden deck by their rooms. There is also a spacious dining area and bar. The camp serves excellent international style cuisine using local ingredients. Bwindi is home to more than half of the world’s wild mountain gorillas and these can be tracked as part of the park’s regulated program. Most guests come to Bwindi for this reason; however there are 93 species of mammals, 11 of which are primates and almost 350 different types of birds in this area. There are a number of nature walks and trails which guests can enjoy to view these animals. A knowledgeable guide will help you along the way.
