Ishasha Wilderness Camp
Ishasha Wilderness Camp is tucked away in the remote southern part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Midway between the gorilla viewing areas of Bwindi and the game rich Mweya region of the Queen Elizabeth Park, it is perfectly placed to break the journey between these two areas. The ten large tents are in a wooded area fronting the Ntungwe river. Each has an adjoining bathroom with safari-style bucket shower and, an eco-friendly toilet. There is a tented mess tent where meals are eaten. There is good game close to camp but the area is particularly known for its famous tree-climbing lions.
