Kyambura Gorge Lodge is the latest lodge to join the renowned Volcanoes Safaris portfolio. This eco-lodge is perched above the Kyambura Gorge at the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.

Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge has eight en suite grass roofed bandas overlooking the grassy savannah and with views of the Rwenzoris in the distance. There is also a central lounge and dining area made out of local materials and decorated using local textiles.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities from include boat trips on the Kazinga Channel, game drives, visits to the Maramagambo Forest bat cave and Blue Lake, and community walks. From a conservation and eco-tourism standpoint, the lodge and the land surrounding it, are crucially important as there is now a protected habitat in the form of a buffer zone between the chimp population and local farmers.
