Why Aardvark?  
We have been to each one of the lodges and camps we suggest you visit. We have slept in the beds, eaten the meals and walked with the guides. We won't push you into lodges or camps we haven't personally experienced. Every few months we travel out to Africa to see new properties and re-visit established favorites. We look at many camps and lodges on these journeys, filter out most and suggest the best. It is only by seeing what is out there that we can be sure of offering the very best travel advice. We prefer small, owner-run camps and lodges and believe our clients do, too. In these intimate settings you can experience life in the bush away from the crowds. A good guide can make or break your safari experience. The small camps we use tend to employ the better guides, and we keep an eye on who is working where. We also rely on your experience. We want to hear about your safari when you return, and use your feedback, whether good or bad, to help build on our knowledge of changes on the ground.
