These multi-day walking safaris are run by Robin Pope Safaris in the Nsefu sector of the South Luangwa National Park. Debs Tittle, one of Zambia's most experienced guides, leads a maximum of four people on the Luangwa Bush Camping Safari which takes in a variety of habitats in this wildlife rich national park.

Accommodation & Facilities
Guests will usually camp for two or three nights in simple tented accommodation and spend the days walking between sites exploring the terrain and habitat they pass en-route. The walk-in A frame safari tents are equipped with a comfortable bed roll/mattress and proper bedding. There is a shared bucket shower and short drop bush toilet. Freshly cooked meals are eaten around an open camp fire.

Wildlife & Activities
Walking is the primary activity on a Luangwa Bush Camping Safari. In the company of an expert guide and armed scout, guests can experience this corner of the South Luangwa well away from other visitors and vehicle noise. Although you may well see larger animals, walking safaris tend to focus on smaller species and the sights, sounds and smells of the bush - the whole safari experience is often much more vivid than vehicle based game viewing. Luangwa Bush Camping combines very well with a few nights at one of the other camps in the South Luangwa.
