Bushbuck Camp
Bushbuck camp is set in a secluded location, hidden away from the main buzz of the Lower Zambezi, on a cliff overlooking the Chongwe River and close to the Chongwe Water Fall which streams out of the Muchinga escarpment. The camp offers guests a vintage safari experience for groups of up to six people. Accommodation is in comfortable tents all with adjoining bathrooms, bucket showers and tilly lamps for light. In this remote location, guests can visit unexplored waterfalls, caves and pools, and enjoy exquisite views from the escarpment down to the valley floor. The terrain offers the opportunity for special on foot sightings of common game like buffalo and elephant but also rare species like klipspringers and bush pig. A few nights out at Bushbuck can be combined with a stay at Chongwe River Camp or Chongwe House.
