Kapamba

Kapamba Bushcamp is located in a remote corner of the South Luangwa National Park. This is another of the Bushcamp Company’s properties and is the only bushcamp to be open from May to January. It is situated on the banks of the shallow, spring-fed eponymous river and it is surrounded by some of the park’s most abundant wildlife.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are four spacious en-suite chalets here which are simple and original in design. The rooms are entirely open-fronted which boast large verandas all with river views. This is the most romantic of bush camps and so is ideal for honeymooners – each chalet has twin showers and sunken stone plunge pools. Clever wrought-iron shutters are drawn each evening so that you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the African night without worrying about unwanted visitors wandering into your room whilst you sleep.

Wildlife & Activities
From Kapamba you are able to go on guided bush walks or day and night game drives in order to explore the rich diversity of the surrounding area. An afternoon walk through the cool waters of the Kapamba, where a special sundowner awaits you is also on offer.
