Little Makalolo

    

Little Makalolo is one of only a few camps to be located within the actual boundaries of Hwange – Zimbabwe’s premier National Park. The camp is incredibly secluded and overlooks a vibrant waterhole, allowing guests to view vast amounts of wildlife year round.

Accommodation & Facilities
Five luxury tented rooms make up Little Makalolo. Each has its own private bathroom facilities with both indoor and outdoor showers. The communal dining room and lounge areas are all under canvas. There is also an open fire area and plunge pool, which provides the perfect means by which to relax after a long day viewing game.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities principally revolve around game drives and guided walks within the local concession. Makalolo is famous for large herds of buffalo and elephant as well as lion, leopard and cheetah. During the winter months, the large numbers of waterholes within the Little Makalolo vicinity become particularly busy as wildlife has less opportunity to satisfy their thirst so are forced to drink together in closer then normal proximity.
