Matetsi Water Lodge

       

Matetsi Water Lodge is situated in the 50,000 hectare Matetsi Game Reserve which is a private wildlife concession an hour to the west of the Victoria Falls. The camp is set under ancient Mangosteen and Waterberry trees on the bank of the Zambezi River.

Accommodation & Facilities
The three small lodges that make up Matetsi Water Lodge each comprise six spacious suites, which open up to boast breathtaking views of the river. The suites all have a deck with a private plunge pool and a huge en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. Each lodge has its own guest area consisting of a covered open-sided thatched sitting area with fireplace. Dinner is enjoyed under the stars on the banks of the River.

Wildlife & Activities
Day and night game drives are on offer from Matetsi, with a chance to see large herds of buffalo and elephant, kudu, wild dog, sable and roan antelope. Guests are also able to go on daily nature walks which are led by professional rangers as well as guided canoeing excursions and fishing. As the lodge is only an hour from the Victoria Falls, it is also possible to take part in the vast variety of activities on offer there.
