A naturalist’s paradise, Rukomechi camp is situated on the western boundary of Mana Pools National Park in north-east Zimbabwe. The camp lies on the banks of the Zambezi, within a large grove of acacia and mahogany trees, offering fantastic views of Africa’s Great Rift Valley in Zambia.

Accommodation & Facilities
The camp has 10 thatched chalets, all with private bathroom facilities including both indoor and outdoor showers. An environmentally sensitive camp, the main communal area is predominantly solar powered and comprises a lounge, bar and dining area, all housed under a thatch roof, providing spectacular views of the escarpment.

Wildlife & Activities
Mana Pools National Park offers guests at Rukomechi the potential for fantastic game viewing and close encounters with wildlife from lion and elephant to crocodile and hippo. Game drives, bush walks and canoe safaris are all fantastic means by which to experience the National Park. High quality bird watching is also available, with a wide range of water birds attracted to the river.
