Located in the heart of Zimbabwe’s largest National Park, Somalisa Camp is a traditional bush camp made up of just six stylishly furnished canvas tents. Hwange National Park provides a stunning view of vast open savannah from the camps’ vantage point on the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plan.

Accommodation & Facilities
Each tent at Somalisa has its own private bathroom facilities including a flush toilet and bush shower. Sumptuous cuisine is complemented by a choice of South African and Australian wines. The swimming pool provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and reflect on the wildlife encountered after a long day of safari drives and bush walks.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities at Somalisa revolve predominantly around the abundance of local wildlife within Hwange, which is sometimes referred to as ‘land of the giants’ for its big elephant herds. Guests can view game either on driving safaris or bush walks. Hwange is known as one of Africa’s finest havens for wildlife, offering visitors the chance to see vast herds of buffalo, lion, wild dog, white rhino and many more.
