Acacia House

Acacia House is set in the Ol Chorro Losoit valley in the Lemek hills within the 70,000 acre Mara North Conservancy area. It is a spacious private safari house, with great views over a waterhole, at an altitude of 6,200 feet. Children of all ages are welcome at Acacia House.

Accommodation & Facilities
This exclusive use house has been designed to suit families and offers relaxing and private safari accommodation. It is a particularly good choice for families travelling with younger children. The two large en-suite bedrooms and a third attic room (which shares the second bathroom) are spacious, comfortable and attractively furnished. The house includes a housekeeper, private chef, private safari guide and vehicle and totally personalised service. Acacia House also has a good swimming pool (which is shared with Mara House). The pool is sloped and depth marked and there is an adjoining baby pool. The complex has doors and can be kept safely out of reach of children. If taken with the adjacent property, Mara House, a group of 12 can be accommodated.

Eating
A private chef means children can be easily catered for with child friendly meals such as pizza, fish and chips, chicken, steak and chips and pasta dishes at mealtimes to suit.

Wildlife & Activities
With a private vehicle and family friendly guide it is possible to set the pace of the viewing experiences to suit your own needs and schedule. The activities offered at Acacia House include private wildife viewing in custom built safari vehicles, visits to the local villages and schools, bush picnics and sun downers in spectacular surroundings. Guests are also welcome to participate in the Rekero Trust’s community development projects, including computer training. The house makes an ideal hide for watching many species of animals drinking from the waterhole and the huge number of bird species while relaxing on the verandah or by the pool.
