All areas of Anna of Zanzibar are designed with colonial simplicity in mind. The main area comprising a dining area, bar, lounge and library, is built in traditional Zanzibari style and beautifully decorated. The five villas are situated within a well maintained garden looking out across the Indian Ocean. Meals can be served in any number of locations; on the beach, in the tropical gardens, by the pool or on the large open veranda. There is also a small spa offering massages and spa treatments.

Activities
Activities are predominantly centred in the ocean with kite surfing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing facilities available locally. Within the interior of Zanzibar, guests can explore the World Heritage site of Stone Town, or visit the exotic spice farms. However, nothing beats relaxing and enjoying the solitude of miles of beautiful tropical beach.
