Ant’s Hill

Ant’s Hill is a unique lodge on a private wildlife reserve in the Waterberg region three to four hours drive north from Johannesburg. The lodge is perched on the edge of a small cliff with wonderful westerly views. As the lodge is small, personal service and flexibility are guaranteed and guests visits can be completely tailor made.

Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge comprises two stunning honeymoon cottages, one separate twin/double room, a family cottage and a two bedroom “Worlds View” cottage which is ideal for families or two couples travelling together. The wonderful main lodge has a dining room, lounge with a big open fireplace, a bar and an open lounge, which is a great place to relax with a drink before dinner. There is a small heated swimming pool where guests can relax during the heat of the day, and next to this a small garden area where children can play.

Wildlife & Activities
The 6,000 reserve has many different kinds of antelope as well as rhino, zebra, sable, giraffe, and buffalo. Activities include guided walks, horse riding for all abilities, and wildlife drives. Bush breakfasts, suppers around open fires or lunches under shady trees are all part of the Ant’s Hill experience.
