Ideally located on the Eastern cataract of the Victoria Falls within the Mosai-Oa-Tunya National Park and a five minute walk from Victoria Falls, the Avani Victoria Falls is a family orientated resort welcoming children of all ages.

Accommodation and Facilities
212 en-suite rooms and suites are set in 46 hectares of gardens circling the large freeform pool and lawns where zebra, giraffe and monkeys are all frequent visitors. All rooms are decorated in comfortable contemporary African style with colourful textiles and Moorish influences and either have balconies or lawn access.

The family rooms sleep two adults and two children 12 years and under in two double beds sharing the same room.
There is a child friendly pool with shallow end, two restaurants, a poolside grill and pool bar as well as room service to cater for all tastes and requirements. Guests can take advantage of facilities at the next door Royal Livingston Hotel including the Royal Spa and a shuttle service runs between the two resorts.   The activity desk located in the hotel foyer can organize all your activity requirements and enquiries.

Eating & Sleeping
The restaurants are child friendly and a children’s menu is available. Babysitting services are available and provided by the housekeeping ladies at a charge of US$4/hour daytime and US$6/hour after 6pm.

Take a lazy sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River, swing the gorge or venture into Livingstone for more tourist attractions. The hotel is situated a mere five minute walk from the majestic Victoria Falls and hotel guests are offered free unlimited access during their stay. The activity desk can help with enquiries and organize everything from jet boat rides, to abseiling, fishing excursions, cultural tours, horse safaris, canoeing, cheetah experiences, white water rafting, bridge swings, micro light flights, game drives, river cruises, elephant safaris, helicopter rides and so much more.

Specifically for children …
This fun club is open to kids aged 2 – 12 and is the perfect spot for kids to enjoy a wide variety of hosted activities, including full and half-day excursions to places of interest, fun and games and nature walks all under the watchful eye of specially trained child-minders. Children under four must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter.
