Bateleur Camp

Situated on the western border of Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve, Bateleur Camp is located in a private concession just below the Oloololo escarpment.

Accommodation & Facilities

This stylish and luxurious camp, which is shaded by a thick forest canopy, comprises nine spacious tents each with en suite bathrooms that have inside and outside showers and a bath. One of the tents is a family suite with two bedrooms. To the front of the tents is a big deck with a daybed that has fabulous views across the Masai Mara. Behind the bathroom is a private stone flagged courtyard where the outside shower is also situated. The main area of the camp has a large sitting area decorated in true African décor including a fireplace and veranda. The camp has gin and coffee bar, a gym, a spa, and a pool which enjoys the same fantastic views as each tent.

Wildlife & Activities

Bateleur Camp offers activities such as day and night wildlife drives, bush walks, sundowners on the rim of the Great Rift Valley and village visits.  Hot air ballooning is also available at an additional cost.
