Bomani Tented Lodge

Bomani Tented Lodge is located in a private concession in the Ngamo Forest Reserve on the the edge of the remote and unspoilt southeast corner of Hwange National Park. The lodge overlooks Bomani Pan, which is regularly visited by wildlife.

Accommodation & Facilities

Bomani has nine double tents, a thatched family cottage, and a family tent with two bedrooms. The rooms are comfortably furnished, with fans, table and chairs, a shaded outside deck, and an en-suite bathroom with hot showers and flush loos. The relaxing communal areas include an open dining room, bar area and lounge, and a small pool, all raised a little way above the surrounding land. Meals are often eaten on the lawn in front of the lodge, with the camp fire giving warmth and light during dinner.

Wildlife & Activities

With beautiful scenery, large herds of elephant, buffalo and wildebeest, an abundance of wildlife and 400 species of bird, this is a fantastic wildlife destination. Enjoy day, afternoon and night game drives and bush walks in the company of superb guides, or watch an amazing array of wildlife at local waterholes from an excellent sunken hide. Additional activities on offer include a visit to Ngamo village and the local school, and the Pump Run, which involves taking part in checking and refueling the numerous water pumps in this region of Hwange. Horse riding is available at an additional cost, for experienced riders only.
