Cederberg Ridge

Cederberg Ridge has a great location perched, as its name suggests, on a ridge in the Cederberg Mountains around two and a half hours north of Cape Town. From its commanding position the lodge offers excellent views of the mountainous scenery and the 3,000 hectare citrus and grape farm on which it is set.

Accommodation & Facilities
Cederberg Ridge has two classic rooms in the main homestead building and nine suites spaced out either side of the homestead. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with under floor heating, outside terraces with chairs, and high quality contemporary decor. The suites have inside and outside showers, and fireplaces. Two of the suites share a lounge and can be combined to form a family suite. The main homestead has a large dining room, a cosy and relaxing lounge, a bar and a library. Outside there is a large swimming pool, big gardens and a terrace with a fire-pit. The lodge also has a spa treatment room and a croquet lawn.

Wildlife & Activities
The fynbos floral kingdom is unique to the Cape region, and the sandstone mountains of the region are a great place to learn more about it. Guided walk and mountain biking on the farm and the adjacent Cederberg Wilderness Reserve, visits to rock art sites, boating on Clanwilliam dam, and farm tours are among the activities on offer here.
