Chamilandu

Chamilandu is the smallest of the Bushcamp Company’s bush camps, located in a remote area in the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. It is located right on the edge of the Luangwa River, providing stunning views and great opportunities for viewing game whilst relaxing at the lodge.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are only three rooms here, accommodating a maximum of just six guests, meaning it is perfect for small groups and families. The rooms are spacious tree houses, which are also set on the edge of the river. Each has its own raised veranda to relax on during the heat of the day, and an open-fronted en-suite bathroom with the same stunning view over the tranquil waters. Chamilandu is open from July to November.

Wildlife & Activities
While at Chamilandu, guests have the chance to go on walking safaris and game drives, exploring the remarkable range of habitats in the area. There are seven oxbow lagoons close to camp, which ensures exciting encounters  of thirsty animals which are often seeking refreshment. They also have a hide here, which looks out over one of the lagoons and is the perfect place in which to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
