Cheetah Plains Camp

Cheetah Plains is a luxurious, contemporary style lodge in a private concession in the north of the Sabi Sands adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Accommodation & Facilities

Cheetah Plains consists of three huge villas, each with four suites. The villas are spaced well apart, and set within gardens planted with indigenous species. The suites are all privately positioned in each villa, to give all guests peace and quiet. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom, with double showers and a bath, air conditioning, a mini bar, and a private outside deck and daybed. Two suites in each villa are inter-leading to suit families with younger children. The fully staffed villas all have two lounges, a kitchen, a bar and dining room, a chilled wine cellar, a boma and braai, and a heated pool on the deck outside. There is a spa and gym available to all guests.

Wildlife & Activities

Wildlife viewing in Sabi Sands is exceptional and with no boundary between the private reserves and the Kruger National Park the wildlife, including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino, is free to move in and out of the area. Drives and walks with knowledgeable guides and trackers are offered every day, and time is taken to enjoy the sights and sounds with the vehicle stopped and the engine off. Birdwatching is also very rewarding, with hundreds of species resident in the area.
