Como Maalifushi

COMO Maalifushi is the first luxury resort in the Maldives to open in the pristine Thaa Atoll in the archipelago’s southwest.   The island is accessible by a 60 minute seaplane transfer from Malé airport.

Accommodation & Facilities
The resort comprises a mix of 65 land and over-water suites and villas.  Beautifully constructed from pine and thatch, all the rooms have floor to ceiling windows which open onto substantial decks.  The décor is light and airy, bringing the sea, sand and sky into the heart of every room.   Garden rooms are spread through the resort garden while beach suites, which come in various room configurations, have direct access to the sea, some with their own pools.  The over-water suites and villas are built off wooden walkways that stand above the shallow lagoon, and each has pool and private terrace with direct sea access.  There are three restaurants offering everything from sophisticated Japanese dishes to delicious pizzas.

Activities
There is an excellent dive and water sports centre offering a range of motorised and non-motorised activities including snorkelling, sailing and sunset cruises. The peaceful spa is a great place to enjoy a pampering treatment or take a yoga class, and children will find a lovely kids’ club.
