Cottar’s Bush Villa

Cottar’s Bush Villa is set within a 7,600 acre concession in Kenya’s Masai Mara. The homestead is nestled into the stunning backdrop of the Olderekesi Hills and has breath-taking views across the border onto the savannah plains of Tanzania’s Serengeti. The house was designed by the Cottar family, who have been running the neighbouring Cottar’s 1920’s Safari Camp for generations, and has been diligently constructed from local, eco-friendly materials. It is the perfect retreat for families who wish to experience their own private piece of Africa for the duration of their stay

Accommodation & Facilities
Very spacious and built in a contemporary African style, the house is offered on an exclusive basis and sleeps up to ten in five en-suite bedrooms, with the option to add up to five additional beds for children.  There is a large living room, a dining room where delicious meals are served and an impressive viewing deck with commanding views over the plains. There is WiFi internet access throughout the house and satellite TV. The house is fully staffed with a dedicated team of eight including use of Cottar’s 1920s Camp guides and vehicles.  The child friendly pool at the adjacent Cottar’s 1920’s Camp is sloped and has steps.  It is not heated but gets warmer during the day.

Eating & Sleeping
Children can have separate meal times and the kitchen can accommodate children’s favourite meals including milkshakes, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, cauliflower cheese etc.  A nanny can be provided free of charge.
